Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California at the age of 55.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
