The UK airline is introducing free quick onboard wifi by way of satellite deal
Passengers aboard the airline will soon access high-speed wifi in the air without charge due to a recent deal involving the billionaire's communications provider.
No-cost plus High-speed Wifi Available to Everyone
The airline announced that this free, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet service via Starlink is set to be available for travelers flying coach, business, and first class as of soon.
Widespread Deployment Across Various Airlines
The umbrella company of the airline, International Airlines Group, announced it had finalized an deal with Starlink to provide wifi coverage on over 500 jets operated by their operators, including Aer Lingus, Iberia, plus the low-cost airline.
Seamless Wifi from Boarding through Landing
BA noted that the implementation of the technology formed part of a multi-billion pound “modernization” plan and will deliver smooth wifi service for flyers from boarding to landing, also when they are flying over large bodies of water and far-off locations.
Passengers will be able to link multiple gadgets while won't need to require a separate password.

Existing Wifi Services
Limited internet access is currently offered to British Airways flyers through the majority of the airline's jets through their .air platform.
Members of BA’s reward scheme can dispatch messages and text-only emails in the air without paying, while flyers looking to stream music, video, and content during their flight who are not flying in first class may pay between £4.99 to £21.99 for one internet package.
