Spurs Boss Frank Calls Vicario Critics 'Not True Genuine Fans'
Fulham Start Strong to Beat Tottenham and Raise Pressure on Frank
Tottenham Hotspur supporters who booed goalkeeper Vicario were told afterwards "they can't be real Spurs supporters" by boss Frank.
Tottenham let in a pair of goals in the first six minutes to lose 2-1 to their opponents, marking their tenth Premier League at home loss of 2025.
However the primary topic of discussion was the visitors' second goal when the keeper gave away possession well outside his area.
The goalkeeper ventured out to handle a high pass and took the ball towards the touchline.
But, rather than kicking it out of play, the Italy international spun and tried to clear away, but slipped as the ball glanced off Harry Wilson and was controlled by King.
The forward passed the ball off to Welsh midfield player Wilson, who bent a shot into the goal from the sideline recorded at thirty-six point six metres.
Moments afterwards when the ball went to the keeper once more, a number of Spurs supporters jeered him.
Spurs were booed off at the interval, with the side 2-0 down, and once more at full-time.
One of those jeering episodes truly angered the manager.
"It came to my attention a few of our fans reportedly booed the situation and booed after, which, in my view is completely unacceptable," the Danish manager stated regarding the supporters' reaction to his shot-stopper.
"[They] cannot be real Spurs supporters that do that. Alright jeering following the game, no problem, but when we are in play, we are backing one another, we are behind each other moving ahead."
Tete had given Fulham a fourth-minute lead prior to Wilson's goal – with Mohammed Kudus netting for Spurs in an improved second-half showing.
Former Premier League keeper Hart remarked that the second score was "completely avoidable".
"I do appreciate the fans' frustration," the ex-keeper added. "I know the role the keeper is performing. He is a excellent team player, he is a real figure in the dressing room but in the end you are going to be assessed by your actions.
"He was heavily implicated in what ended up to be the winning goal."

Thomas Frank Stood Up For His Goalkeeper Vicario After the Game
Italian national team the keeper is in his third season with Spurs.
The 29-year-old stated after the game that he had to accept the criticism.
"That goal was a error of my own, I take accountability for that," he commented.
"My aim was to clear the ball long and I simply struck the ball in a bad manner. It was an even bigger mountain to climb."
He said being booed "comes with football".
"I am mature, how can I respond?" he added. "The team can't be affected by the situation in the stands. Supporters have the right to do as they see fit.
"It is on us to stay more calm, to focus on our own performance. The team is lacking in composure and calmness to reverse outcomes. This match is a bad defeat and it is hard to accept."
'I Was Surprised No One Went Back to the Line'
Despite Vicario's error, it was far from an easy goal for Harry Wilson to score.
Actually it was the next longest-range Premier League goal of the season – after Tyler Adams' 43.3 yard strike for the Cherries against the Black Cats, which incidentally also came on Saturday.
The goalscorer stated he was "a little bit taken aback" that he still had an open goal to aim for.
10 seconds passed between Vicario coming out of his area and the midfielder striking – which was 5 seconds after the kick.
"It seemed to me like the keeper was away from the box for a long time," Wilson remarked.
"It amazed me not one of the back four went back to the line. When none of them defended the net, my interest sparked somewhat.
"Udogie fell as well, which gave me a bit of extra opportunity. After that it was all about attempting to make the right contact and get it on target. I felt a good feeling, the moment it came off my foot, that it was heading in."

Jeering While We Are Still in Play Is Completely Unacceptable - Frank
Although Vicario's mistake dominated coverage, this was an overall bad performance for Spurs to continue their home ground woes.
This was their tenth at home loss of the year in the league, a shared team record matching nineteen ninety-four and 2003.
The side still have home games against Frank's old side Brentford and champions the Reds to play prior to the end of the year.
Only one of those wins have come since Frank took over from Ange Postecoglou in the off-season.
"If you are behind 2-0 following six minutes, there is a mountain to climb," stated Frank.
"During in a bad spell, everything appears to work against you too – the first was a deflected attempt, the second is a error from the keeper.
"This result leaves us in a place where we have lost another match. Each fixture has a single story, this game we were defeated in the early stages.
"We simply need to keep working. The second half was much better and with luck an aspect we can use to develop."
Spurs have been defeated in 4 consecutive at home capital clashes for the first time in the top division.
And they are averaging 9.5 shots and three point two shots on target per game in the Premier League – their poorest rates on record in a one season (since at least 2003-04).
Former Cottagers midfield player Danny Murphy stated that the manager has to ride the storm.
"He's got take the stick," Murphy said. "He's taken a prestigious job at a major football club with enormous expectation. There is scrutiny and responsibility that accompanies that.
"Their showings at home have been disappointing and they have to get better {quickly|
